DESCRIPTION:All\, \n  \nI have put together a proposed route for the day cruise to check out some backroads north of Vernon. The date is Wednesday July 9th but the roads must be dry so the date may change as we get with couple days of the event.   \n  \nNorthbound \n\nStage 1\nDepart West Kelowna at 08:30\nTake Westside Road drive to O’Keefe Historic Ranch 9380 Highway 97 Vernon arrive 9:30\n\n  \n\nStage 2\nTravel Otter Lake to Fraser Road to Wood Ave.\, blends onto Salmon River Road\nContinue northwest to tie back onto Highway 97 at Schwebs Bridge arrive 10:00\n\n  \n\nStage 3\nContinue on Highway 97 Okanagan thru Falkland to Barnhartvale Road arrive 10:40\nContinue on Barnhartvale to Tumbleweed Pub adjacent Highway 1 Kamloops approximately 30 minutes arrive 11:10\n\n  \nSouthbound \n\nStage 4\nTumbleweed Pub Kamloops to Barley Station BrewPub\, 20 Shuswap Road Salmon Arm on Highway 1 eastbound arrive 12:20\nLunch at the Pub allow 1 hour depart 13:20\n\n  \n\nStage 5\nHead south on Shuswap St to 10th Ave then to Auto Rd SE back on 10th Ave.\, right onto Grindrod -Salmon Arm Highway 97B\nTurn right onto Deep Creek Road drive to Asparagus Farm Market\, 4694 Knob Hill Road for brief stop if wanted arrive\,13:50\nContinue south onto Salmon River Road and Otter Lake Road back to the O’Keefe Ranch arrive 14:10\n\n  \n\nStage 6\nTour the O’Keefe Ranch Historic site if wanted\, then head for home south via Westside Road\, or North on Highway 97 Okanagan Highway\nBack to West Kelowna by approximately 15:30\n\n  \nI have not included any stops for photos etc.\, we can decide as a group as we travel the route. \nUdo and Ev please invite Viper Jack and Bill Newness if you wish\, at least meet for lunch at the BrewPub \n  \nCall or text with any suggestions or comments; 250 317 6085. \nCheers \nJim \n
